Nkanu Protection Services
These Terms & Conditions govern the provision of security services by Nkanu Protection Services. By engaging our services, the client agrees to the terms outlined below.
1. Scope of Services
Nkanu Protection Services will provide security services as agreed in writing, including but not limited to guarding, access control, patrols, monitoring, and incident reporting. Services will be delivered in accordance with site-specific instructions and agreed operational standards.
2. Service Agreement & Duration
All services are subject to a formal agreement outlining the scope, duration, pricing, and conditions. Contracts may be fixed-term or month-to-month, as agreed between both parties.
3. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
- Provide accurate site information and risk details
- Ensure safe working conditions for security personnel
- Provide access to required facilities and systems
- Notify Nkanu Protection Services of any changes affecting service delivery
4. Pricing & Payment Terms
- All pricing will be provided in a formal quotation
- Invoices are payable within the agreed payment period
- Late payments may result in service suspension or additional charges
- Pricing may be adjusted based on changes in scope or statutory requirements
5. Compliance & Legal Requirements
Nkanu Protection Services operates in full compliance with the following:
- PSIRA regulations
- UIF and COIDA requirements
- South African labour laws
- Tax and B-BBEE requirements
All security officers are PSIRA-registered and deployed in accordance with legal standards.
6. Personnel & Conduct
- All security officers are vetted and trained
- Strict discipline and uniform standards are enforced
- Zero tolerance for misconduct, bribery, or negligence
- Replacement of personnel will be handled promptly if required
7. Monitoring & Reporting
Services include:
- Daily Occurrence Books (DOB)
- Incident reporting and escalation
- Supervisor site inspection.
- 24/7 control room support (where applicable)
8. Liability & Limitations
While Nkanu Protection Services takes all reasonable measures to provide effective security:
- We do not guarantee the prevention of all incidents
- Liability is limited to the terms agreed in the service contract
- Clients are advised to maintain appropriate insurance cover
9. Termination of Services
Either party may terminate the agreement by providing written notice as per the contract terms. Immediate termination may occur in cases of breach of agreement or non-payment.
10. Confidentiality
All client information, site details, and operational procedures are treated as confidential and will not be disclosed without consent, except where required by law.
11. Force Majeure
Nkanu Protection Services will not be held liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, civil unrest, or government restrictions.
12. Amendments
These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Clients will be notified of any material changes affecting service delivery.
